Had a 94 6.5 a while ago. Thing screamed with a stock turbo. I miss it, and want another at some point. For now, a 2nd gen 24 valve it is.

a hx35 or hx 40 off a 2nd gen is a direct bolt on. and what people use to do can also turn the injection pump 2-3 flats with a allen key for more or less fuel. youtube/google. heath diesel

more turbo would probably lean it out a bit and less black smoke, or needs to be leaned out. Is this ebay turbo larger? maybe i missed it in your video

I run a 2021 f550 service truck up in Canada. Nothing but issues with the emissions. They say don't idle as much but what does a guy do in -40 celsius working on equipment in the middle of no where lol.

I have the cab off one right now and it is still a huge pain in the ass. Everything is in the way of everything else. Not fun, I’ll stick to gas engines 😂

Good news for the Diesel industry. The Supreme Court overturned a 40 year old ruling called the " Chevron Doctrine ". Basically, it takes away a lot of power from agency's like the EPA. I think it's the beginning of the end of the green EV push down our throats.

It just needs more air. If that turbo is just an oem replacement then you won’t get any power gains. You’re basically right back where it was in 1997. Even Mr ww2 swap isn’t worth more than 50hp honestly. You got plenty of fuel just add the air now!!

What’s easy is doing mods to a broken truck, what is hard is restoring a truck to smooth factory working condition and passing smog. Personally, it would be more interesting to see you troubleshoot the truck and fix it 100%.

That dually is sweet , but I love the Sunkist!

It's an older diesel, the fact it could do a burnout it impressive. I'd take that over the ugly orange truck any day. With a little tlc, it would make a good truck.
